Selene is the high priestess and will be respected as such.

Merry meet. Merry part, merry meet again ... common greeting/departure of Wiccan folks. Now that we have hello and goodbye covered, we have something more important to stress to you please read it through.

The wiccan rede is not found in the witch's bible but spoken by Doreen Valiente in 1967 and other writers at a later time. Although most neo -pagans, witches, and wiccans use this as moral/ethical ruling. Among these groups it is a standard of living with magick and with life. (Plentiful Earth | A Spiritual Awakening Brand for more information) Folks, we cannot stress it enough, to at least read the wiccan rede, with open heart and mind. Let it enter into your soul before any craft work is done.  You could ask the young lady on the left in the picture here how strict we are on these rulings for our wiccans in the house. It is part of what she was required to know before her coming of age. Before her alter was gifted to her. Before casting any spells in our house for safety's sake and before she was welcomed into the coven (blood is blood, but coven people you are apt to call their coven family since the witch's trials). In our house it is Law for our wiccans/witch's then after you master the rede. you need to know the rule of the three powers. The most powerful tool in a witch's arsenal ... I will give this one to you since you have been good enough to read this far.

The three powers are as follows:

1) The power to "will" it into existence

2) The power to "dare" to take action to make it happen.

3) The power to keep "silent"... hush I need my spell to work so I will not spoil my bull frog stew. "I can hear the colors and taste the thought coming from within" and you will learn this one is very important for anyone who deal beyond the veil.

Who are the three Goddesses of the moon. Equinoxes vs, solstices: these are times you should know as an American witch.

1) Dianna - the maiden -the waxing moon

2) Selene - the mother - the full moon

3) Hekate - the crone -the waning moon (she also deals with the shadow moon).

4) the horned father - the sun ☼

Equinox come twice a year as we celebrate the coming spring and autumn. These are days of balance as the day and night are the same length.

Solstices come twice a year as we celebrate the coming of winter and summer. These are the longest and shortest days of the year.

Pagan, Wiccan, and Nature Based Religions

We do expect those who choose this path to know the rules, basic laws, and basic tools.  A lot of this we will be adding as we continue to build the page. It is a work in progress. If there is any information you would like to add to this page, please use the box below and send me a message.
